Parnall Aircraft Company specialises in the manufacture and sale of highly authentic Spitfire MK V reconstructions for static display. Utilising original drawings and manufacturing techniques, our aircraft are as close to a 1940s production aircraft as you can get.
Our area of expertise, in both research and construction, is Presentation Spitfires: aircraft which were financed by the fundraising efforts of communities, individuals, towns, organisations and expatriates during the war. Each plane carried a chosen name on its fuselage and each plane tells its own unique story.
In parallel, we are also restoring an original Spitfire to flying status and an authentic non-flying replica of a Parnall Panther.
Have you ever dreamed of being an engineer, or enjoy building small models at home? We invite you to come and spend a half day with our aeronautical engineering team, in our hangar based in the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall.
Immerse yourself in the history of spitfires with a guided tour of the impressive restoration projects. The Parnall Aircraft Experience allows you to get up close to this British icon of design engineering, making it the perfect day out for anyone interested in aviation history and the skills needed to recreate a Vickers Supermarine Spitfire.
